Terre voyages

In April 2004, five of us were looking for some change in traveling to the south, and we were not disappointed. We were, in fact, delighted by the welcome, the organization and the itinerary of our one-week journey to the Atlas Mountains. We passed beautiful vistas, with stunning and varied landscapes. We passed through rocky lands, green oases and oueds. We saw beautiful Berber villages, with their architecture of red earth. And the staff was amazing: Our guide knew how to organize the trek so that it would be rich in events yet affordable. What’s more, he was very knowledgeable about his country. He was discreet and very much present at the same time. We felt very much at ease with him for the whole trip. Because of him, we were able to meet unusual people. We will remember his kindness, his availability, and his sense of humor. We will also remember the musical talents of our mule drivers and skills of our cook, who prepared such delicious and varied dishes. In Marrakesh, we stayed in a very nice hotel next to the Djemaa el-Fna Plaza, near the souks and a hammam. We spent some magical moments there.
