What can I say about this first trek in Morocco with my friends? Everything was tiptop. We were amazed by the welcome we received in Marrakesh in the charming little hotel a few steps away from the Djemaa el-Fna Plaza . We were delighted by the stop that we made to eat during the transfer on the way to the first camp in the Atlas Mountains . The five-day trek, the desert landscapes, and the green valleys of the mountains, the evenings at the bivouac, the kindness of the staff, the mint tea, and the sumptuous picnics awaiting us in the shade of the trees along our trails enchanted us. I shall not forget the experience of the hammam and the strolls in the souks of Marrakesh .
